Vivo X100, equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and Zeiss-branded cameras, launched in India alongside the Vivo X100 Pro in January. Despite being a recent release, details about its successor, the Vivo X200, are already surfacing online. The upcoming X series smartphone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main Sony camera, similar to its predecessor. MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset is rumored to power the Vivo X200, which could also sport a 1.5K resolution display.
Expected Key Specifications of Vivo X200
On Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) posted alleged specifications of an upcoming flagship phone. Although the post does not specify the phone’s exact name, comments suggest it refers to the standard Vivo X200.
According to the post, the Vivo X200 is rumored to include a 50-megapixel Sony customized super-large bottom main camera, accompanied by a 3x mid-range telephoto lens. The phone is expected to feature a 1.5K resolution panel from a domestic (Chinese) manufacturer, with narrow bezels.
Vivo is reported to use high-density silicon in the large battery of the Vivo X200, although the battery capacity has not been specified.
Last month, the same source revealed additional details about the Vivo X200 lineup. Both the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro are expected to be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset. The Pro model is also rumored to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
