Apple is reportedly developing AI features for the Vision Pro.

Apple’s AI ambitions extend beyond the previously announced Apple Intelligence features for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is also aiming to integrate these capabilities into its Vision Pro headsets.

This development isn’t entirely unexpected—given that Apple Intelligence, which includes enhanced Siri, proofreading tools, and custom emojis, is central to Apple’s future, it makes sense for these features to be present across all its latest devices. However, despite the Vision Pro’s impressive capabilities, it remains a high-cost device with a relatively niche market.

Gurman notes that Apple Intelligence won’t debut on the Vision Pro this year. The company’s primary challenge is adapting these features for a mixed reality environment, as opposed to traditional MacBook or iPhone displays.

Regarding Vision Pro sales, Gurman also reports that Apple is adjusting its in-store demonstrations. Potential buyers will now have the opportunity to view their personal media on the Vision Pro, and the headband will be updated from the Solo Loop to the Dual Loop for improved comfort.

Additionally, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared new rumors, suggesting that Apple plans to begin mass production of AirPods with infrared cameras by 2026. These new AirPods could enable advanced spatial audio experiences and gesture controls when paired with the Vision Pro.
