Realme introduced its first tablet, the Realme Pad, in India in 2021. Since then, the company has expanded its tablet lineup with several models. There are now rumors that the third generation of the Realme Pad might be arriving soon. While Realme hasn’t confirmed the exact release date, the tablet has been listed on the IMEI database, hinting at an imminent launch. The upcoming Realme Pad 3 is expected to offer enhancements over the Realme Pad 2, which features a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and an 8,360mAh battery.
According to GizmoChina, the IMEI listing shows a tablet with the model number RMP2402, likely to be branded as the Realme Pad 3. Although the listing only provides the model number, the device is anticipated to support SIM cards.
Currently, Realme’s tablet range includes the Realme Pad, Realme Pad Mini, Realme Pad Slim, Realme Pad 2, and Realme Pad X. The original Realme Pad was launched in India in September 2021 with a starting price of Rs. 17,999. The Realme Pad 2, released in July 2023, is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The Realme Pad 2 boasts an 11.5-inch display with 2K resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded to 16GB with Virtual RAM. The tablet features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a 5-megapixel front camera, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Its 8,360mAh battery provides up to 17 hours of video playback and up to 190 hours of music playback on a single charge, with support for 33W fast charging.
