Huawei introduced the MatePad SE 11 globally on Sunday, May 9. This new tablet is seen as an upgrade to the MatePad SE from 2022, which had a 10-inch display and a 5,100mAh battery. The MatePad SE 11 enhances these features with an 11-inch full-HD+ screen and a larger 7,700mAh battery. Additionally, it supports the M-Pen Lite stylus.
Regarding pricing and availability, Huawei has not yet provided official details for the MatePad SE 11. Its predecessor, the MatePad SE, was launched in China in 2022 with a price of CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,300) for the Wi-Fi only version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The MatePad SE 11 features an 11-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a pixel density of 207ppi. The screen offers a peak brightness of 400 nits, 100 percent sRGB coverage, and includes an eBook mode for readers.
Included with the tablet is an M-Pen Lite stylus, which, when used with the Huawei Notes app, supports multi-screen collaboration and multi-window functionality. The tablet also has a Kids Corner with features such as a blue-light filter, poster alerts, and eBook mode.
The device measures 252.3×163.8×6.9 mm and weighs 475g, and is available in two colors: Crystal Blue and Nebula Gray. While Huawei hasn’t specified the exact processor, the MatePad SE 11 is expected to feature either a Kirin 710A or Snapdragon 680 chipset, depending on the region. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage and runs on HarmonyOS 2.0.
For photography, the tablet includes an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front camera. The MatePad SE 11 is powered by a 7,700mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging via USB Type-C. Additional features include a quad-speaker setup, Bluetooth 5.1 and BLE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and OTG support.
