The Poco Pad is set for a global launch later this week. The company has revealed the launch date and teased the tablet’s design through a promotional poster. While additional details are scarce, recent leaks suggest that the Poco Pad might be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro, which was released in China in April. Both tablets are expected to share similar specifications.
Poco Global has confirmed on X that the Poco Pad will be introduced globally on May 23, alongside the Poco F6 series. The promotional image highlights the tablet’s “large display entertainment king” tagline, with only the flat display visible in the teaser.
The Poco Pad is anticipated to be a rebranded Redmi Pad Pro, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD screen, and a 10,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support. Like the Redmi model, it is likely to have an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera with an ultra-wide lens. It may come with Android 14-based HyperOS and include four stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C connectivity. Available in Dark Grey, Shallow Blue Bay, and Smoke Green (translated from Chinese), the Redmi Pad Pro starts at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,300) in China for the 6GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 128GB version is priced at CNY 1,599 (about Rs. 18,400), while the 8GB + 256GB model costs CNY 1,799 (around Rs. 20,700). Poco has yet to reveal the pricing for the Poco Pad tablet.
